Here is another one of IRA's pioneers!  Pell Lake's Ken Monroe was one of the
original member/Directors during IRA's infancy.  Thanks to him and Whitey for
taking the time to chat with me about the early days of the IRA!  I can't tell you
what a treat it is to occasionally stop by his shop in Pell Lake and talk about old
news articles and pictures.  Last winter we got together at Barry's Bar down in
Genoa City to look over some of his Father-In-Laws color slides. Collis Pearson
was the unofficial IRA photographer in the early days. The Pearson Collection is
truly a wonderful time capsule with some amazingly detailed color photo's!
Can't wait to see them again soon!!  We invited 10 guy's to stop by and bring
photo's of their own. Over 50 people showed up just by word of mouth!  It
proved to me that plenty of people are interested in these old cars!! Hopefully
we can do it up a little bigger this time!

Ken has started to put his pen to paper and is writing down his thoughts about
IRA's history.  We hope to post it here!

Please contact me if would be interested in attending another slide
presentation.  fivedes@execpc.com
